After four years of disruption in the process of receiving international resources, the Amazon Fund is back and at the center of the global debate on responsible preservation and production. Now, the Brazilian Federal Government has announced the resumption of the transfer of resources and the expected expansion in the number of funding countries, currently restricted to Norway and Germany. The demands of the region are high ranging from the incentive to income generation projects and actions to fight inequality to firm actions against deforestation, fires, and illegal mining.
